HOW TO GET IMMEDIATE ANSWERS FOR PRAYERS LIKE JESUS CHRIST

Prayer is the only means by which we communicate to our Creator, God Almighty. Prayer is also the only means by which we take in the life of Christ and give out the life of Christ. When true Christians pray they believe that God hears them and will do or grant their requests (I John 5:14-15). When they pray and did not get answers to their prayers, they are frustrated that is why many are disillusioned and drift away from the faith.

The promise of God is that when we call onto Him, He will hear us (Jeremiah 33:3), and that He is always ready to grant all our genuine requests. The confidence of true Christians is that when we called upon Him He hears us and will grant our heartfelt requests if we asked according to His will (I John 5:13-15).

What most Christians lack is that they do not know how to pray or what to pray for. When they pray, they don’t pray according to the will of God, they always pray according to their own will, which oftentimes are contrary to the will of God.(Romans 8v26-27,1John5v14-15).

Furthermore, when they pray, they always pray for things they want to use for their own pleasures rather than things that will advance the work of God or things that will promote the salvation of their souls and the souls of others (James 4: 1-3)

Moreover, when modern day Christians pray, they do not consider the influence and importance of the Holy Spirit in their prayers. The Bible says,’ The Holy Spirit helps us in our weaknesses; for we do not know what and how we ought to pray, but the Spirit Himself intercedes on our behalf with sighs too deep for words. And the searcher of hearts knows what the Spirit has in mind, for He pleads with God on behalf of the saints.’(Ro mans 8:26) They pray as if everything depends on them and not on God. They do not put themselves in the proper attitude of prayers. These are the causes of unanswered prayers these days.

In order to improve these shortcomings, this book is presented as a guide to making our prayers to be very effective. The book contains articles on how to improve our attitude to communicating with our God and model prayers that should guide us into developing the right attitude to ask and receive answers from our creator and saviour. The book should not be taken as the final word on prayers but as a guide to the starting point to developing a lasting, effective and rewarding relationship with God as far as prayer is concerned.
