Instant stress relief is a dream we all have, a thing we all want to be able to do. There are many techniques we can use to have instant stress relief. It's all about making a couple of small changes in our habits and/or life style.

How to relieve the stress instantly?

Exercise
Whether you are at home, in the office or at your friends house and you feel stressed go somewhere when it is calm and quiet, to some empty room and exercise for a while. Move your body a little, maybe go for a walk or play with a ball and you will bust the stress and tension out of the body.

Stretch
Take some time to stretch your body and limbs. By stretching you will release the tension out of the muscles and improve the blood circulation that will supply your muscles with oxygen and you will feel renewed and full of energy.

Controlled Breathing
When you practice deep breathing you help slow your heart rate and relax your body, helping us feel calm and in control. When you inhale try to do it through the nose and do it slowly and when you exhale do it with the mouth and again slowly. By this you will supply your body with much needed oxygen and while you are doing that you will take your mind of the things that are causing your stress.

Relax with humor
Laugh when you can and do not hold back because laughter is a natural way of relieving stress and will help you to reduce it easily. Humor is really everyday opportunity for personal stress relief. We all know that life without a humor can be boring and depressed. So laugh out loud and forget forget your stress.

Eat properly
Get some carbs. Carbohydrates naturally helps your body release serotonin, a chemical in your brain that has a calming effect for your mind and your body. Try eating cheerios, a little bit of jelly beans, ice popsticles, pretzels and anything else low in fat but avoid protein, it blocks serotonin. Don't go on an eating binge! It only takes a small snack to make it work.

Release your emotions
We already mentioned that humor and laughet are good way of relieving the stress but there is one other emotion that will get you relaxed. Our body’s natural way to relieve itself of stress is through crying. Crying is good for us, afterwards many feel more relieved and stress free. Your tears are how your body disposes of stressful a chemical, that’s why you feel more replaced after a good cry.

Talk with someone
Keeping it all inside only makes it worse. Vent out to a friend, someone who will listen and understand. Even by talking you will feel more relaxed and perhaps the person you are talking with will offer you support in a stressful situation.

Be creative
You can also express yourself through writing, keep a journal where you can place all your thoughts and feelings, get the stress out. Maybe you like to write poems or draw a some paintings that will help you to express your feelings.

But the most important thing is to remember that you always have to keep positive and think about the good things around you. Think about your family, friends, neighbours and the good people around the world, do anything possible to forget the stressful situation you are in and bust the stress out of your mind and body.
