Your Calling is Holy

(God) who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was granted us in Christ Jesus from all eternity (2 Tim. 1:9 NAS).

We have been called with a holy calling. The word spoken to your heart by the Holy Spirit is just as much the Word of God as the Holy Bible. What the Lord says to you and shows you is holy - separated from this world and separated unto Him.

Hebrews 12:25 says to see that we do not refuse Him who speaks. Mental reasoning refuses His voice as does religion and pre-planned prayers.

The Bible warns about not touching the holy things with that which is unclean. Your holy calling can be tarnished and blemished with thoughts of doubt or inability, thoughts that hold on to the past, or cutting words from the good intentions of others. Emotions cannot be allowed to influence or change the divine plan.

God has called you to His purpose. Your part in His body brings an important supply for which you have been granted grace - His ability to the highest degree.

For God's gifts and his call are irrevocable (Rom. 11:29 NIV).

Seated With Him In Heavenly Places
That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places.

(Eph. 1:17-20 KJV)
Paul had a revelation of who believers are in Christ. It caused him to pray that we might also get a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of our Lord. It is not enough to get the principles but we need the spirit of the matter. Principles are taught while the spirit is caught.

The great apostle to the Gentiles also wanted us to get a revelation concerning the glory of the Father (Rom. 4:6) that raised Jesus from the dead and set Him in the heavenly places. This same glory was the power that overcame sin and death to raise us up with Christ where we are also seated with Him.

And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus (Eph. 2:6 NIV).

We have a position above the natural realm of this world. You will never be victorious if you live out of your conditions. Conditions are subject to what is going on here in the natural, subject to governments, rules, regulations.... In this realm, you live and pray according to every wave and wind that comes along.

Position is above condition and the position does not vary because it is God-given. You will never go past your conditions until you have a revelation of being seated with Christ. It is vitally important to your call to live out of your position.

Inner Strength To Maintain Your Position:
In writing to the Ephesians, Paul gives the revelation of who we are, what we have, and what we can do in Christ. He begins one of the most important books for the church with grace to you.

God's grace is His ability and power within your heart to do what He has called you to do with joy. If obstacles or human weakness seem to say No Way, His grace is available to strengthen you and keep you moving forward in the plan of God.

Grace is also favor. We are surrounded with favor like a shield (Ps. 5:12). It shields us from the effects of the world in which we live.

Faith overcomes problems while grace keeps the problems from overcoming you. If you give up on the inside, you will faint on the outside.

We obtain and grow in grace by coming to the throne of grace (Heb. 4:16) - God's presence. We have an open invitation to enter into the highest place of authority - the throne of God. There is a filling of His grace that causes His authority to rise in you to accomplish the purpose to which He has called you.

Your faith will be affected by your inner ability to stand on what you've heard from God. We can't reach out in faith until we grow in grace. As the Amplified Bible puts it - faith is that leaning of the whole human personality on God in absolute trust and confidence in His power, wisdom, and goodness.
